Would you like to learn new skills to help youth and families build resiliency? Then join us at the Resilience Conference! Keynotes include: Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, a nationally renowned pediatrician focusing on youth who have experienced trauma/ACEs, and Laura Van Dernoot Lipsky, a self-care expert. Workshops will include: Suicide Prevention, ACEs, Motivational Interviewing, School-based Interventions, Trauma-Informed Practices, and many more!
Participants will leave the conference with a comprehensive array of tangible skills that will equip them with strategies, new modalities, and an evidence-based understanding of resiliency and interventions for youth and families.
Target audience: School personnel, social service agency providers, parents, all community members (Snohomish County residents have priority).
Clock hours will be provided by OSPI. All conference materials provided by Snohomish County.
Breakfast will be provided both mornings, and Lunch will be provided on February 28th (sorry, no special dietary requests are available).
